I often think, is it possible to love someone and also love many or few others? When I say love I obviously do not mean platonic love but emotional and physical liking of the not-so-platonic vein. Is it possible to love more than one person at the same time, maybe not equally (if you can measure love) but still love. Is loyalty, especially physical loyalty, a proof of “true love”? I am asking this mainly because our erstwhile loyalty tests on our erstwhile tv shows epitomize loyalty only and mainly as “physical loyalty”. Does it mean emotional attachment accounts for nothing or is it necessary to be emotionally attached to only one person? Physical and emotional loyalty, can it be tested on the grounds of sticking to one person only, for 50 years of ones life? Is not wanting to grow old only with that person, enough? Is not knowing everyday that though the world may leave but you want to stay back for that person, enough? Is not knowing that all the love in the world may die but your love will live, enough? Is not loving someone without asking back, enough?
What is loyalty? What is this sense of love we live with today? A love which binds and strangles itself in contradictions and limits itself though always claiming to be limitless..

Now Used In Love..
The bride's roses are dry,
They crumble under my touch.
Your feathery white dress is
Worn, its lace whithered.
Even our steps on the
Aisle are dust.
Now you sleep like one
Used in Love. Still seems
Near that day of restless
Ecstacy, you were coy,
Abash. And I held you
Like spring holds new buds.
Your moon-lit skin seemed
Soft, so palpable. Wrinkled
In its softness, now, it still
Beckons me.
Let me bite your red lips,
While you sleep coylyThis is my first post so felt like posting something older than my most recent works. My fingers are crossed..
